First study of poppies

My mother sent me some beautiful pictures, among them were some of poppies which drew my attention. This is a first study of poppies with their bright red petals in a yellow/green field.

Sky done in phthalo blue, grass in nickel azo yellow and perm green light. In my opinion the phthalo overpowered the yellow. I will try for more light in my next study.
