Red virus

"Prof Thurman continues: 'We took a few samples of the spores under the microscope and noticed that the blood red color for which they are named is actually due to a virus inside the spores. The microscope slide also shows blue and green cyanobacteria present in the water.' "

Red virus - Acrylic on acetone (10x10in)

I had planned this beautiful red virus to be collaged over the algae painting with a dark blue border around but my wife mentioned she liked the painting as is and did not want to hide any part of it. Since I can always collage it later I decided to keep them separate for now.
