A postcard with roses

A beautiful postcard with vivid pink roses against a light blue background.

I was experimenting with paint skins, textural medium, impasto, and other techniques. 

The blue on the top is cerulean, and the roses are mixtures of red quinacridones. The greens are also mixes of hues close to hookers and I used quin red (I think) as the complementary for the darks.
