First golf player sketches

A friend of mine requested I do an abstract colorful painting about golf for his living room. I take those requests very seriously, and so I began researching, photographing and sketching. I like to know my subject extremely well before I paint it, so I can paint by memory. Since I also play a bit of golf, I believe I already have a great start on this project.
I asked my friend to send me whatever material she had, such as pictures of her playing, trophies, score cards, course maps, etc... And I began loading my brain with pictures of the places, the people, and the action.
The way I saw it, this project could be broken down into painting a golf player, and painting a golf course. I had never done either of those things.
I began researching the golf swing by videotaping and photographing golf players from different angles. Back at home I played the videos in slow motion, taking snapshots and selecting the best poses.
Here are a couple of the many sketches I have done of a golf player swinging. These two were done in a cubist style.
