I started this experimental landscape wanting to use the same color combination as in my Communication Lost painting. The yellow and red on the sky and the lake, contrast nicely with the bright blues of the vegetation around the lake. Unfortunately, the Panelli wood panel was not completely smooth and caused veritcal lines to appear when I was lightly feathering the sky reflections on the lake.
