An acrylic drawing of Venus emerging from the sea, or the birth of Venus.

Birth of Venus - Acrylic on paper

I had run out of canvases and painted this with acrylic on watercolor paper. It was very challenging as the acrylic dried almost instantly upon contact with the paper. But since there is almost no blending on this drawing I just kept painting until I finished it.
I call it a drawing because the lines are bold and simple, amd the colors few with almost no blending.
