Painting on a motherboard

This is a colorful painting using a computer motherboard as the background. The texture is done with gesso applied with a brush partially covering the circuit board. I used phthalo blue and quinacridone fuchsia, accented with yellow (hansa and diarylide) and cadmium orange.

I was curious to see what those colors looked like together. I also wanted to experiment with the texture of the brushed gesso over the board to give everything a rough look. The background came out looking like the ocean. The texture of the brushed gesso gives it that wavy watery look when you apply light and dark values of the blue over it.
