Unique Medal Holder

I designed and painted this very original medal holder for a dear friend that loves running, so she could display her race medals in style.

The medal holder is made out of plexiglass from an original design I made. It holds a lot of medals because of its staggered design. In the picture you can see that there are plenty of unused hooks at the top of the holder. It attaches to the wall with 6 standoffs which make it look very modern.
What's even more unique is that I painted it on the back. That's why I chose to create it out of plexiglas. Plexiglas is more transparent than glass and is also lighter which is perfect for this.

The painting was created with similar techniques as my previous paintings on plexi with the addition of stenciled letters (It would have been a nightmare to paint those letters by hand in reverse!).
