DNA - Double helix

This one is for the scientists! A painting of a DNA strand over a blue and silver background done with enamel paint on a wood panel.

The circles are cabochons which magnify the enamel pattern. The enamel swirl is a technique I learned from my first art teacher Al Razza. You can view his art here at www.razzadesign.com.
