Drip paint portrait

Drip paintings are powerful. I have been experimenting with the drip paint technique on a handful of canvases and I like the results. The drawback is that you need large canvases and lots of paint so it gets expensive. However, it's a liberating way to paint. There's a lot of movement both in each paint stroke and also stretching over and walking around the canvas. There's no way to erase strokes so every line has to be deliberate and it forces you to picture the painting in your head as you are executing it. The technique also limits how many strokes you can make. Too many and the lines just blend into a puddle.
