Snowy mountain peaks at dawn

This is an acrylic painting of snowy mountain peaks at dawn (or sunset?). This was a fun acrylic landscape to paint using the squirrel mix brush for the soft gradients of the sky and the paint knife for the mountains.

Snowy mountains - Acrylic on canvas (30x24in)

For the sky I used anthraquinone blue, dioxazine purple and titanium white. The clouds were painted with titanium white, naphtol red and hansa yellow. For the mountains I used anthraquinone blue, cobalt blue, aniline black and  titanium white, with a raw umber underpainting. You can see the raw umber coming out on the bottom middle where the valley is.
